Probably a stupid question but - I bought one of these https://www.biketek.co.uk/Shop/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=324 to charge my totally flat battery on my TZR. However, it has no warning lights of any kind - fair enough didn't expect qany. But it also has absolutely no instructions! Help? Embarassed
Cheers Very Happy

Looks like you just connect the terminals or crocodile clips to your battery, connect the other end to the plug, plug in to the mains, and wait for an hour or two Neutral

tsk my £3 one has a light and auto cut off when battery is charged,

how many amphours does your battery hold vs how many amps your charger gives off, then divide, or just bung it on 2-3 hours , and leave it at that 20 minutes is enough to just about fire up my NTV from 100% flat batt.

Hmmm. Gave it two hours and put it back in today and it's very, very flat :p Didn't seem to want to charge in the bike either. When I was revving, the lights actually got dimmer Sad

Hi

Check that the battery earth strap is secure (ie, not just at the battery end of the cable).

All the best

Keith

that is a trickle charger I think.
They take ages to charge your battery, we have one but we also have two optimate charges, which turn off when its fully charged,
I believe yours wont so could kill your battery if left for too long.

What type of battery do you have? a sealed for life one or one you top up? what are the levels?

I have also found that some bikes we sell have a thingymagig that cuts power to the lights if the battery is low, (stupid thing really , we dissconect them but they are chineese bikes)
