Ive heard theres like a minor racing league or something. Focusing on 14-16 year olds or so, just wondering if anyone on BCF races. I have friends that do moto-x but none of them do road racing...weird.

Google 'aprilia superteens'.

And hope you've got rich parents.

Everything.

The van to cart it to the track, the diesel for the van, the generator, diesel for the generator, the bike, petrol for the bike, tyres, tuning, parts that need replacing, parts that you break, race entry fees, more tyres, club membership, somewhere to sleep, spare wheels for wets, wets, leathers, several lids (you will crash), food all weekend, taking time off work, dyno runs, photographs.

The list goes on, and on, and on. I wouldn't be surprised if you easily blew £15k in a season of just club racing.

I say if it's really what you want to do, then go for it regardless of cost. ok so having rich parents helps but if you put your mind to it, you can do whatever you want!

Thats why I'm sat here on my PC typing on BCF when really I'm bitter for not having rich parents who could have got me racing when I was young. Laughing

Seriously, being young is must it seems so if you are between 14-16 years old then stick your neck out and go foir it! only live once and all that.

From what I've seen motox is considerably cheaper. Still have the van, the bike, petrol and diesel etc.

But entry fees are much cheaper, tyres don't need to be changed nearly as often if at all, no tyre warmers, and crashes tend not to break stuff so badly. Obviously depending on the crash.
