Unfortunately, I don't think that this will actually stop from using mobiles whilst driving Sad ...but it might make drivers a little more alert Confused

we'll have to wait and see what happens to the first person to get caught under the new scheme.

Hi

They can already be done for at least 2 or 3 offences if they use a mobile while driving. It is just that unless it can be cheaply or profitable enforced with a camera the police dont care. Speeding convictions are going through the roof, while driving without due care, dangerous driving. etc are all going down rapidly.

Last thing we need is more laws, just someone to actually bother to enforce the useful ones rather than the useless speeding ones
