When I got my Varadero second hand the full beam light worked but not the low beam. Anyway got the shop to replace the bulb but now only 3 weeks later the low beam bulbs gone again. Is there too much power goint to the lights or whats going on?
Any ideas? Question

thats an electrical fault mate, little test for ya.... (evan if the test isnt the prob trust me you got a faulty earth somewhere)

sit there in the dark head lights off and pull the brake and hold it for a few secs, if the headlight bulb(s) lights up a little, then your tail light(S) is wired up wrong, i had the same prob with my nsr, it turned out the earth on one of the tail lights wasnt on properly

Hi

To follow up what Craig said, check the battery. If they get low on liquid they tend to allow power surges through which blow bulbs. Also check the headlight mountings and maybe try tightening / slackening the bulbs just to stop it vibrating.
