How do you fit front fork protectors ?

i want to buy some front fork protectors for my bike, but i'm unsure of how they are fitted. i want to be able to do the job myself, and i hope that it is straight forward to do. can anyone provide advice and pictures if possible of how they are fitted.

i don't want to pay someone, if i can do the job myself.

my bike is a triumph daytona 06 plate.

There are different types so you need to be a bit more specific.

To be honest even the most complex only require the release of the fork legs from the yolks, easy enough if you have a center stand.

The type that look more like a shield should take just a few minutes to fit since they clip over the fork leg and just need tightening up with a screwdriver.
