I am going to be having a look at a friends rs 125 this weekend, I will be checking the basics - plug fuel etc, but as its around 15 years since I worked on a 2t i am looking for a bit of advice. He is complaining that it is not pulling in the lower rev range but is ok when it reaches the power band, my first thoughts were the powervalve is stuck open but not sure if it has one fitted. Can some one advise on any other problems that may be causing this and confirm if it has a powervalve fitted, and if so how to reset.
its a 2001 model
thanks in advance
