Hi everyone,
I am a new member to this site so please excuse my lack of knowledge. Im currently thinking of purchasing a Suzuki rm 250 1995 model and i have been told that the bike is not going into 3rd gear as when it does it just makes a "click click clicking noise ". I have no idea what this could be to do with and nor does the owner as he said its only occurred today.
I therefore was wondering if any of you guys could possibly help me out and give me some suggestions as to what it could possibly be.
Thanks for looking Cool

If it won't go into third, I'd be surprised if you could then put it into fourth... Depends on the fault I suppose.

i dont know much about gearboxes as ive never had the chance to play with one. am i right in thinking that its a cog for every gear?
if so, is there a possiblilty that you've stripped a cog in your gearbox so that none of the teeth catch so its sorta like a neutral gear?

solution: new gearbox
