hi all, would a sprocket and chain from an RVF400 fit a VFR400 NC30?

Should do, but the standard chain is shorter on the RVF, as it has a smaller standard rear sprocket. If your using the whole lot though it 'should' be OK. (Don't quote me though, the chain could still end up a little short i guess)

Standard sprockets on NC30 is 15f 40r with a 104 link chain.

Standard sprockets on NC35 is 15f 38r with a 102 link chain.

The gearing would suck though, the NC30 already has a taller 1st gear than the 35 using a 40r, so going smaller on the rear sprocket is only going to make things worse.
