GSX400F problems (exhaust, carbs etc)

Ive been working on a GSX400f for a while now (almost ready for MOT ) but i have a few problems:

one of the 8mm bolts holding the exhaust into the head has ripped out taking some thread with it, how much will it cost to helicoil and would I need the engine/head out to do this?


its running a motad nexxus end can and K n N filters but hasnt been rejetted, anyone know how hard it is to raise the needle height?

Tank needs a repaint, Im thinking sand it down to metal, poundland white primer spray then spray on hammerite, Any important steps im missing out on?
