Hi Guys,

I am "streetfighter"-ing an old (1999) Honda Hornet just for kicks (certainly not talented or mechanically minded so will be an interesting hobby!) and have hit a snag with the headlights.

I have removed to original headlight to be replaced with a set of twin streetfighter headlamps and I cannot get the main or dipped beams to work?

The pilot (side) lamp works but when I connect up the three spade connectors to the new lamp......nothing.

I wired the original headlamp back up (just to make sure it is not the bulbs in the new headlight) and that now does not work either!

My first thought was obviously the fuse which I checked and is fine.

I have not changed anything else on the loom/bike except:

* Removed speedo (to be replaced later by new one)
* Replaced Taillamp unit with new LED unit (all working)

Any thoughts on where to look next much appreciated

Have a good look at the 3-pin connector to make sure there isn't a short or loose connection there. Since you've been fiddling about with it something may have come loose.

We want some pics too!
