what are these like? they seem to be pretty cheap- whats performance like, and are parts hard to get with them being imports?

Hi

Not sure. They were officially imported for a short while, at the same time as the VFR400 and the FZR400, but the official imports only had a single front disk (and all the ones I have seen were red, but they may have been available in black as well). Being an official import spares shouldnt be too much of a problem.

Power wise they were slated for having a massive flat spot in the mid range. There is also an import version with variable valve timing which is meant to be a far better engine, but then you are back to the import spares situation

yeah I found a mini-review in an old 'Bike' mag and it has the same engine as the GSX-R400. Apparently after 94 they altered it to give more mid range power. I just saw how cheap they are (to buy and insure- group 8) and I was interested.

I looked at one b4 i got my goose, they seem all good but i want'd an Air cooled bike like the 600 bandit,. they do about 110mph quite small light look good(not as good as the goose).
