Hi, I've only heard good things about them, often referred to as a poor mans Scottoiler. Smile

Some people I know rave about them.

The one on my Katana was utter bilge.

Go figure. Confused

Excellent way of oiling your garage floor though should you get one like mine.

You have to leave a gap between the two tubes otherwise it just sucks oil all the way through

It also loves to eat the delivery head, even though I made sure it wasn't contacting the sprocket

I dont think the coathanger it comes with is up to the job and the whole assembly gets very dirty quickly

I did get offered a replacement head but I couldn't be arsed and threw it in the bin

It is dependant on how long the oil line is, If you squeeze and only go on a short ride with a long oil line it will make a nice slick on your floor when you park up.

If it's too short it will only oil your chain for about 3 miles

Rubbish piece of kit, buy a scottoiler.

just use a can of spray chain wax, doesnt fly all over the place and does a great job of keeping the chain lubed

Scottoiler works fine if you set it up right. Makes the chain on my Busa last for at least twice it's normal life. Thumbs Up

Cheap spray grease (£1.99 per tin) every couple of journeys seems to do the trick. It takes less than 30 seconds to apply and my chain and sprockets show no appreciable signs of wear yet, thats after 12,000 miles.

So what's that then? Chain lasting a full tank of petrol now? lol Jk.

I know people have made their own versions using washing up bottles and the like, i'd certainly think about putting one on the cbr, as the center stand was taken off by a previous owner, and so, lubing the chain is a pain in the testes.
