Monitor question

Hi all i have an old crt monitor , and due to my bedroom been above the stairs i have one of those built in things that takes up half my room. So with me not having much space ive had to put my monitor on top of my speaker sub.

With the speaker having a magnet in will it do any damage? The colour is dodgy at the bottom of the monitor as its on top of the sub , other than the colour been crap will it do any other damage?

if its there long enough the colour will become a permanent feature.

the magnets pulling the electrons away from where they are supposed to be going which over time will cause permanent damage to the screen.

not really a problem if its an old shitter of a monitor.

Aye. Also worthy of note: the damned thing's ruined for normal viewing unless it has a 'degauss' feature built in. It'll always have that rainbow effect even once it's removed from source.

I found this out the hard way in my youth and now am extremely paranoid with all visual electronics around magnetic devices. Sick
