I have my test on thursday and if... no WHEN I pass I am looking to upgrade to a more powerful bike. I have had a look at a GS500 an really liked it. It looked good and was comfortable to sit on. It was unfaired and when I looked for insurance it seemed quite reasonable.
Has anyone got one of these or know much about them? And also what are they like to restrict? as i need to do it to 33bhp.
Also i need to talk my dad into it so any tips for that would be great to . ____________________ Bikes--2002 GS500---2006 CG125(For sale, PM me for details)

I did my DAS and Test on a GS500, i quite liked it actually, was easy to ride and pretty comfy. Im guessing that its a good bike to learn your trade on, cheap to run and maintain due to the number of training schools that use them. I'd imagine a 33bhp restriction wouldnt make much difference but dont quote me on that.
Another bike to consider too thats in the same bracket is the Honda CB500. Similar kind of bike to the GS but physically feels abit bigger and roomier. ____________________ I kills hondas
