Ok, I have 2 months left to send of my pass certificate! Shocked

I have my photocard license but lost my counterpart ages ago which i THINK I need to send away for my full license. I have a D1 form here to do that because i have a change of address but I need to know if I have to add a fee on to the £22 I already have to spend to replace the counterpart?! Would I get away with not sending or bothering with a counterpart and just sending the D1 form with my change of address and license update to a full one?!

help!!

I'm sure on the form you can fill in if you have lost both parts of your licence.. (the form you get with your licence pass, well used to get anyway)

Theres a stupid rule that if you loose one bit you have to fill in the form and piss about (and get certified photos, send birth certificats and all that bollocks), if you have lost both bits you simply fork out the money and get sent a nice new one.. i phoned up and was told this, and i said "what if i loose this bit as well, i can pay over the phone and have my licence sent back to me" the arsey reply came "oh no you cant do that you've just told me you have one part still" cant i? .. click... "hello ive lost both parts of my licence" Twisted Evil

The examiner now takes your bits of paper off you, much better, they did this when i did my car test recently, the mustg have only started it in the last year or so if bugsy did his just under 2 years ago..

Best bet is to phone them up tbh, explain you have lost both bits, ask what you need to do and add that you have to change your address and licence details and they'll hopefully know what needs doing.

No, the examiner took my licence when I passed my bike test, and that was nearly 3 years ago now.

You've waited 22 months ..

In 2 months, you'll need to redo your test.

Why 22 months, I had a paper license when I passed and managed to get photo taken all forms filled in and posted (recorded delivery) the day I past.

You must do this.
