What bit are we talking about? The fairing cowling? the bit with the light in the back? The sub frame?

In my experience, they are all pretty straight forward.

a)Take seat off
b)take bolts out of grab rails
c)take out all visable bolts holding fairing on.
d)unplug rear light
e)Pop out the bits at the front by pulling them out gently.
f) gently slide entire fairing as one piece backwards.

To fit the new bit, if it's for abandit just do the reverse, if it's for another bike, make it fit!

It'd be very very surprised if it fits without a ton of brackets and sub frame bodging.

yankeedoodle that should be a straight fit with all the pannels taken off and the seat braket. Iam selling my one of those it looks like a r1 unatec unit witch needs no mods to the sub frame.
