Basically im in a bit of a dilema, been riding now for 4 years, had 4 bikes, all 125's. I've had a Aprilia SR 125 scooter, a Aprilia RS 125 Extrema, a Honda NS 125 R and my current bike a Honda CBR 125. Now im beginning to get really bored of my 125, ive done 20,250 miles on it since i bough it in june 2005.
Now im pondering over my next bike.
A little bit of back round about me, im 21, working part time, 25- 39 hours per week it varies, and on £7.95 per hour.
Now my plan was to get a £2000 loan out and buy a bike that way, but i have nee offered rates of between 22% Apr and 40% apr or £98 a mont and £120 a month.
Now what im asking is, the way i see it i have the following options.
1. Go with the above loan rates, be paying of say 3500 - 5000 for a £2000 loan over 3/4 years and get a not bad bike.
or
2. Wait till im on a full time wage, save up for yet another year or 2 and get a cheap shitter for £1500
or
3. I have a credit card (RBS one to be exact) which has a £2495 limit on it and a yearly intrest rate of 14.9 % apr and get a bike on that, and pay off say £110 a month.
The other option which i dont think will be good, is sell my cbr, and pay what i owe to my mum, ( roughly £900) and get a cheap shitter?
My CBR has done 20,000 miles, is in Average condition , has part service history, new C&S and tyres. But also has a scuffed fairing, a dent in the tank and various little scratches.

My mate got into debt in his card, real debt then got a new one with 0% APR for first 6 moth or something, and transfered the bills over, paying less interest. Your on more p/h than me, and I save up my money till I can afford what I want/am aiming for. I wouldn't take out a loan or finance on a bike, I've heard to much about being without a bike yet still paying for it, which I understand why, but would you want to get a loan, write the bike of and be paying 4 years for it?
