The rain was coming down in bucket loads and the traffic for T in the park was mental Miles of cars vans at standstill!

When I got there we all sat down and they gave us a briefing on how to take the corners, Flags, Lights Marshals etc. The guy Duncan head instructor at Knockhill was fantastic, nice down to earth guy who knew why we were really there......

Ratio of male / female was about 50/50 surprisingly.

They took us out in a seat leon around the track making note of breaking points, puddles and generally putting theory into practice.

Once we done a few laps in the car it was time for the bikes! There was everything form R1, GSXR1000 - BMW tourer so don't let your bike put you off.

We followed the car on the bikes for about 12 laps making sure that everyone got a shot directly behind the car to see the perfect lines to take.

Then the bit we had all been waiting for!! 50min open track!!!
Words can’t describe the adrenalin I felt even in the wet all im going to say is ..... You won’t be disappointed!!! So when pay day comes next week im going to book in to the next step.

Seriously though I think everyone there learned so much about their bike and how to ride properly as me and my friends are planning a trip to Nurburg next summer I want to try get some experience on the track.

A must for any everyone not just to fly around the track as fast as you can but it was all about the learning for me. 110mph on the straights in the wet was just a bonus!!!
