i'm looking to sell my moped soon, and since every 16 year old round here is a chav, im going to bolt on a noisy exhaust. Laughing the question being, what sould i go for? a cheap one that revs the balls off the bike, or a proper one that actually benifits the engine? are chavs likely to know what they are looking at with this sort of thing? help appreciated Thumbs Up

Id say keep the standard pipe on it, it wont add any value to the bike at all. Thumbs Up .

Remember you are going to have the whole issue of re-jetting the carb with the new 'zorst... and if the engine blows soon after you flog it cos of a bad setup you might be looking for trouble

Personally I would slap a load of stickers on the thing

oh.. and tell them it has been fitted with some extra powerful super stretchy powerbands Wink

They are fine bikes, it's a good thing. And personally I wouldn't buy any 50 which had an aftermarket exhaust or had been derestricted. Sure sign of abuse.

Half the clueless scrotes won't be able to tell anyway!

Get some baked bean cans and araldite a section of them together and a wait for a freebee supplement of stickers in MCN or fast bikes and hey presto, a micron exhaust made from baked bean cans. Although, if you want to be ultra budget and want to have the authentic appearance of racing spec spannies, get a coke bottle (preferably classic shape), spray it silver, maybe smear coffee on it so it looks slightly rusted for that "works" finish and then stick on your akrapovic or micron sticker stolen from said plastic wrapped magazine.

I'm pretty sure you can get your standard Leo Vince ZX's to fit onto that DNA provided they come off a piaggio NRG, Gilly Runner or Piaggio Typhoon? I've seen them for sale for 30 odd if you know who to ask?

MY choice would have been the leo vince "s".

the local scooter shop sell them ( Rolling Eyes ), but while they have one for a gilera runner 50 they dont have one for a dna 50? Confused ITS EXACTLY THE SAME ENGINE!
