Is this just an alpinestars rip off? The logo looks very similar (I notice that a lot with bike stuff, like Sidi/Spada)

what's the build quality like? Durability? Most important: waterproofing?

cheers

ive got the rst 2 piece leather suit ( two different models, the jacket from the rst and the trousers from the srt, because the matching sets looked shite when combined) and had to replace the joining zips after about 3 months.......appart from that, i've had no problems, and the leather has lasted through 2 winters of abuse....

the throw over one piece waterproof ( £30) is about as much use as a roll of bog roll for keeping you dry though. Leaky seams and the legs ride up no matter what you do, resulting in water running down into your boots.

i got a load of Rev'it gear not long back ( the logo looks like the daniesse one, alsmost a complete ripofff), n this seems to be the best gear i have ever bought (the celcius gloves are excellent)

Got some RST summer gloves a while ago, no problem with them at all so far, just with the summer!

I've got a RST light weight over-jacket.. seems waterproof enough! comfy to wear even with helmet on, no zips so it can't leak (pull over head like t-shirt type) big pocket on the front with zip and velcro..

I quite like RST gear to be honest!

ive got rst textiles, and i love 'em. warm, comfy, fully machine washable and fully waterproof. cheap too.

tried on a 1-piece leather suit and didnt like it, fit was too baggy around the middle for me. quality was still good though.

ive also got Rev-it! gloves, crashed in them at about 70mph at cadwell a few weeks back, apart from a bit of scuffing - comfort padding on the palms got ripped off, but nothing structural went through - and scrapes on the carbon knuckles, they're still in one piece
