Hi,

If i'm correct there are two CDI units. One towards the back under the seat and another infront of the back wheel arch.

You need to know which one is restricted. It maybe both or only one depending on the type of restriction.

Kevo.

A new CDI unit will make no difference to the running of the bike. The bike is restricted via the exhaust and inlet restrictor. This is presuming your bike is a UK spec.
I know the NSR125RR (import) is restricted in ways different to the UK spec ones> To be honest im not at all familiar with imports.

Wouldn't it probably be best to get it replaced via your local dealer or mechanic? At least that way they should know the right bits to replace, and if they get it wrong you can blame them.
