I need to ask, how long do you have to wait for any action against you with the above revenue machines, and if caught with either, what's the punishment/penalty per one?

I just thought to myself that on a run yesterday, we went through a few of each in South Yorkshire, and I was told from my description, I was taking it easy on my bike through fear of breakdown, I wasn't giving it any, 1 of the 2 slowest in a group of 5, so I'm dreading the post, what can or should I do?(I'm more worried about the Truvelo)

Pics of what we came across:(I'm 99% sure none of these flashed)

some of these were forward facing, so how can they get you(no plate)?

Being prosecuted in the UK by a Truvelo speed/safety camera can result in a minimum of 3 penalty points and a £60 fine. This fine amount is currently under review by the government and may increase in near future.

you'll be notified in 2weeks, the fine and points depends on how much you were over the limit.
A forward facing camera can't read your plate so nothing will come of those.

Gatso, (rear catching flashy ones) get your number plate....the fine depends on your speed i guess, but standard is £60 and 3 points....
I cant see how the forward facing camera can get you though. it doesnt get a registration mark off your bike.

If you were flashed by a a rear facing camera (Gatso), then a Notice of Intended Prosecution (NIP) must be posted to the registered keeper within 14 days of the alleged offence advising you that they (the Police) are considering a prosecution.

It does not have to reach you within 14 days it has to be sent.

If the speed recorded falls within the paramiters suitable for a fixed penalty, then it will be a £60 fine and 3 points, however the letter will state that a provisional offer for it to be dealt with by fixed penalty is being made.

If it is over the threshold considered suitable for fixed penalty, then again it will advise you that proceedings are being considered through the courts where the penalties can be substantialy higher!

If you were caught by Truvello which is forward facing, then the chances are you will hear nothing at all.
