Please slap me know, I have just pushed my bike home (only 400m or so) because it cut out at the traffic lights.

I pushed my bike to the side of the road, flicked the kill switch to make sure it wasn't that, made sure there was fuel. Nothing. The starter motor didn't tick or the relay. Bollocks. Push it home. In the garage I'm checking the fuse, looking around all the pipes and cables around the engine area.

Try it again, again flipping the kill switch to make it wasn't that. Check I'm in neutral, etc nothing.

So push my bike properly into the garage. Press the kill switch, it goes down. Puzzled look on my face, turn key, starter button. Vurrrm vvvv vvvv vvvv. It starts.

Slap me now.

Karma to those who slap me Karma

I have done that Mr. Green

Got her out the shed, pressed the starter nothing, tried bumping it, nothing. Absolutely fuming, threw my lid down the road and got rather moody, accidently hit the kill switch just before I tried ONE last time, and voila she started.

What a gimp.

Lol everybody has done it at some point! What makes it worse is when you spend 2 years on scooters that don't have kill switches!

I flicked my friends kill switch while we were on a ride out together. He came to a slow halt in the middle of the road. He got me back by flicking mone at a set of traffic lights just as they turned to amber. Rolling Eyes

But, yep ive done that too. i always check my kill switch now if the bike doesnt start straight away.

I've it before to my mates, and done it to myself a couple of times. I'm sure I checked it while I was at the lights! Obviously I didn't do a very good of checking it.
