I've read a lot of posts slagging DK, but what about TAZ and George White. I think TAZ sell parallel imports, what about George White?. How about customer service? Thanks

I bought my RS125 from Taz. They weren't too open that it was a parralell import for starters. They also really messed me about with the alarm (fitting the wrong one and not telling me and charging me the price of a more expensive one, but when i pointed this out they did send me a check quite quickly, but still had an alarm i didn't choose) and taxation of the new bike and registration of bike warranty and Datatag which i think was actually void as they didn't do it and i only found out when it was too late.

But they are cheap, so what do you expect. Would i shop from them again, only if they are cheap enough. If it's only a few hundred in it then i would go elsewhere (somewhere local). However how do I/you know the other places will be any better??

George White sell official UK bikes, and are franchised dealers for all the big four. I bought my last bike, a Suzuki new from the Slough branch which is Suzuki only. Swindon is the big branch that deals in all four.

They were OK to deal with - no better or worse than any big dealer. They were efficient with the pre-sales formalities, like getting the tax and reg. docs sorted for the delivery date and the bike was well prepped and had half a tank of fuel when I picked it up. The only difficulty was getting the handbook and service record - GW blamed Suzuki GB for this, and indeed, when they arrived, they came direct from Suzuki. You can't gather much from the first service, but they did it first thing while I waited which was convenient for me. I'll be going back for the first proper service, as they're the nearest Suzuki dealer to me, and I haven't seen anything to put me off yet. There's a fair choice of Suzuki dealers a small distance away, so I have a choice.

Bought my bike from George White in Shoreditch. They offered the best deal by a mile, service was good initially and people friendly.

However, I tried to book in for a service a few weeks ago but never received a call back from their workshop guys despite leaving three messages over the course of the week. So, given that they're obviously so busy that they don't need my business, I booked it in elsewhere and will probably not use GW for servicing again. Shame really.
