As from 3rd September The questions, currently 35 will increase to 50. The pass mark will be 43 and the time allowed to complete the test is 57 minutes. The price will be increasing too from £21.50 to £28.50 https://www.theory-tests.co.uk/home/ ...

As a member of the DSA subject matter panel (those of us who actually write the questions) someone has to pay for the course we are required to do at Cardington before we are let loose and then pay us our fees Wink Fortunately, I only deal with the motorcycle database questions Very Happy

There will also be a substantial increase in the number of questions that can be called down, and others are being re-written.

remember when i did mine last year they asked if i wanted to answer more questions after i finished. seemed a little suspicious to me at the time, almost like a trial run.

Every question in the is in the bank is used in trial runs before it goes live, and it has always been this way with candidates selected at random from around the country.

A minimum of 100 people are asked the question.

This ensures that the question is worded correctly, that it is clear and allows the panel to clear any ambiguity before it goes into the database.

I did it twice but when i went to do my car theory they asked me if i wanted to do extra questions and i thought get stuffed can't be bothered and went lol

I did the extra questions last year also, I just thought I'd do them for the experience after all it can't hurt can it? Very Happy

yeah Im 16, and booked mine in for 1st August knowing this in advance! Laughing

Cost me £22, pass for hazard perception is currently 44/75 (59%)and im averaging (through pc dvd mocks) 59/75 (79%) so its not that hard!

im 24, reason im going 4 my A2 is quite simply down to money, current i have 6 points and 2 endorsements on my provisional for getting caught driving last year.

As i already have the CBT, if i do the theory myself the actual course will only cost me about £300 which 2 be honest is naff all.

Also no insurance company is gonna wanna touch me with a barge pole on anything bigger than my 125 so i might aswell do my A2 ride the xr for another 4 years (without L's and i could take pillions) til the points are removed then i can jump on whatever i wish and the insurance wont render my bank account empty.

i passed my cbt today and my instructor seemed very positive with my riding he's convinced that it wouldnt take me much to get up to scratch.

I've already put near on 30 miles on her, gotta take her back to the dealership tho as theres 2 holes in my exhaust i think from corrosion and its still under 1month warranty.
