Barton Bike Night 2007

Hi all,

Went to Barton Bike night last night in sunny Barton on Humber. Wow!! Didn't realise it would be so BIG!! Thousands of bikes. I was like Homer Simpson in a donut shop

I thought it was a bit quiet. However, didn't get there unitl nearly 7pm and people were leaving. Don't know if the weather put people off. If looked like it was going to rain but turned out an ok evening.

Minus points is that there seemed less trade stuff than other years. Even the BMF and MAG weren't there. Sadly missing also was the hog roast stand

Plus point is it was still a buzz. To have the streets of a town shut and just bikes is a unique experience.

Plenty of old and new stuff there. Lots of trikes and more scooters than I've seen in previous years. It was good to see the mix of bikes, customs next to trail next to sports next to vintage next to tourer and so on. Some of the artwork was very eye catching.
