I got caught in 30 seconds of very heavy rain on the way to work this morning, I wasnt wearing my waterproof oversuit as it looked nice(ish) outside.
Anyway, my new alpinestars 2 piece suit got an absolute soaking, causing the colour to run out of the leather and onto me!
Any part of my skin that was touching the inside of my leathers is now dyed a dodgy orangey red colour making it look like i have a dale winton permatan.
Ive never had this problem with any of my previous leathers, not even my cheep £80 ashman stuff.
Im quite dissapointed with this. Anyone else had a similar problem??

They will say it is not for use in the rain (and will show you some small print saying so). You could try the small claims courts but in the end you may as well ebay it as once worn.

Oh i dont intend on selling them, im just dissapointed that a supposedly quality suit has no colour fastness with its dye.
Think i will keep my waterproof gimp suit in my rucksac from now on.
