Mate's in deep doodo

Went to Maidstone cruise on Friday night with a mate who owns a FZR250. Saw a few other bikes, parked up, got a cuppa from the burger van...as you do.
Well for those who dont know about this cruise (all of you ) it's on a quiet road leading to an industrial estate. Loads of cars (and a few bikes) go there just to race up and down it . Well anyways we were just talkin with a few mates when it appears my mate on the 250 was pulled earlier on that night for speeding...but let off with a 'severe' ticking off.
As we were talking, a group of 50's screamed down the road racing each other...so we thought to ourselves lets go and ave a quick race with 'em just to wind 'em up.

"Take it easy on the first run" my mate said "just to check for plod"

I agreed so off we set...30 at first...only for my mate to shoot of like a loonie. I kept up with him up to about 70ish but backed off. Guess he must have hit a ton easy. Caught up with him at the end of the road (theres a small turning where everyone turns round) and as we go to turn round an un-marked plod Volvo screeches to a halt infront of us...cutting us up. shit.
3 coppers jump out and I could tell they were not happy bunnies. Infact....one of 'em had met my mate previously that evening
My mate got taken further down the road by this copper and I could still hear him literally screaming obscenities in his face.
I was asked do I know him, have I got a full license, any documents on me....blah blah. Lied through my teeth and was let off on the condition that I "F*ck off like a good little boy and if I see you here again tonight I'll have your license" You guessed it, I fecked off.
Left my mate who by then was signing all sorts of papers, whilst getting screamed at by this bloke. Shit, he would have scared me.
Got home and waited at my mates for the bad news. He come round the corner flat out, parked his bike and proceeded to do a 5 minute burnout. He was seriously pissed off.
Well he's gotta go court now..3 speeding offences and all that. Bollox.
Wouldnt mind but while we were getting shouted at people were racing past, doing all sorts of mental stuff. As far as I could see we were the only ones pulled that night.
Can't moan really...70 in a 30 and let off surely thats a record?

You should've run into the police car.... as they probably didn't give you the 'official' higway code stopping distance to stop in... then sued them for loads for dangerous driving

coppers abuse their job so much

it hard enough gettin in shit, accepted youve done something wrong, but they should simply be upholders of the law and carry out their job in a professional way

shouting at the offender isnt gonna make any difference to the situation apart from maybe get him agrivated (sp) thus the police dude is making more work for himself

this really fucks me off cos ive been shouted at by cops before, its so not needed

if what you have done wrong pisses them off they should just bottle if up till they have finished with the situation and take it out on their bedroom wall when they get home like i do

never admit to speeding ask till proof before doing anything a coppers eye witness account is not proof enough, same with speed camers ask for the evidence ect
