I went helmet shopping today to keep my spirits up that i will be riding again soon. have been measured properly for a helmet. Been told i have an AGV or Arai shaped head.

The AGV actually was more comfy for me so i whittled it down to the stealth and the titech. Anyone know the difference? im stuck with choosing a stealth with a really nice matt gunmetal and white paintjob or spending an extra 50quid on a gloss blue and white titech only thing is im not a fan of the graphics on it.

Will it be more helmet and worth the extra 50 notes? Both are really comfy and fit well. Not arsed with the titechs claim it "being tested by rossi" and all that crap.

Cheers!

Pick which one you would feel has the greatest benefits for your type of riding. Sure you may think it fits nice, but think of other ergonomics such as wind noise, liner comfort, availability of replacements. The Titech is a tried and tested helmet and is well rated. If you want to go have a ganders and see what this guy has to say about it It's very objective and non-opinonated. My mates all say that the titech is a very comfortable lid to have. I may want to buy on to replace my shoei XR1000 (liner is coming loose!)

I have a Stealth; the Titech is no better re protection, but probably a bit quieter. The Stealth's anti-fog is top notch, as is everything else about it (bar the noise, which is bearable after my old Arai).

The Stealth, with it's rear fin, looks way cooler than the Titech anyway. Thumbs Up

Hi, it looks as though you have made your decision but just thought I'd mention I asked the same question a while ago. Thought I would post you a link to my old thread to see if this helps.

Linky

I ended up getting an Arai Corsair but that's a different story.

Like the others, I have a Stealth and it's great. There has been absolutely no fogging and no loosening fit, however the wind noise is definitely slightly more than some others. Thumbs Up
