I saw, read, linked or something like that of a way to locate a mobile phone user. Apparently you put that persons phone number onto a site and the site finds where that person is. The person needs to give permission to be found first of all though. I was wondering if anyone had seen it and could show the link as it would be good to find where my kids are as they are now growing up ( 10 yrs and 12yrs) both have mobiles and are starting to spread their wings so to speak. Any ideas?

I am not sure of the addy but last time I seen something like that they where charging for using it and it took ages to like months to actually get where that person was on a date. Police use it. I was trying to use it years ago to find a missing friend and it was useless and dear. Maybe they have since updated though.

Your tracking your kids? Shocked I know your trying to keep them safe but i would have hated that when i was a teen lol

What about the phone chips!?
I think its like another sim card. You send a text from you phone to the childs phone and it will tell you roughly a few streets from where they are. I think its was something around 50p to do it each time - BHS had some few months back.

Or, this - altho a little expensive Clicky

Thank god I grew up in the 70s, we were gone from morning until dinner time without our parents getting paranoid and trying to trace us. Rolling Eyes

Try trusting them a bit more, and tell them to give you a call or text when they go somewhere new and when they arrive.
