I posting a request in the vain hope that someone will lend me the TomTom Rider mount for 3 weeks (From Thursday) since mine has packed up and I have phoned TomTom however they have no stock until August (When I return). I will of course return the mount after the trip.

I am willing to collect around the London/Reading Area or pay the postage.

It is not the same. In a tank bag, you have to constantly look down and not the traffic in front of you!
I will also have to charge it up every night with 4 hours maximum run time during the day.

Very true, but a workaround if you can’t get hold of another mounting bracket. Which I understand are rather hard to come by.

If you’ve got the electricity plumbed in already it’s easy to extend the power lead to fit. Also depends how you use it – I find I rarely look at mine and rely on sound through the (after-market) earplugs. Another workaround would be to turn the display off and just use sound, which would extend battery life too if you’ve not got plumbed in. But best of luck!

FWIW additional mounts can be had for people with 2 bikes and the like. Google is your friend in that case. Quick look found this, maybe worth a 'phone call or search more for cheaper. Not sure how quick can be got to you but if in stock post/courier usually isn't that slow.

HTH Thumbs Up
