Hey Guys!!

Finally I think i'm gonna go pick up a dream bike this wednesday!! Here is a pic for you guys!

Its a 93 MC21 SE! The paint job will have to go though!!

Heheh.. the seat is quite hard but its not too much hassle to get that done up! The real work goes into a paintjob.. i'm thinking 'fortuna' or just black minimalist kind of approach!

Its pretty quick.. quicker than a lot of 400s 4strokes.. and has 45hp in stock standard. De-restrciting it gives 60-65 hp quite easilty (stock internals) and upto 73+ if you get a super tuning/ignition/hrc kitted/exaust/porting job.

fully adjustable front and rear shocks on this version, handles brilliantly!!

Weighs about 135kg (dry) and has kick start (all of the NSR250s do).

I'm thrilled can't wait to start work on it.

Oh and I bought it for GBP 620!!

www.morgandesigns.co.uk are doing the WEST graphix for £40 - all you need is a black spray job with a white patch - prob cheapest paint job around!

yeah the west honda pons paint job looks brill! And at 40 quid thats the best bargain.. gonna contact morgan designs today! Smile

Seriously.. there are lots of cheap bikes here in sri lanka because the 2-stroke market is quite poor. I have also found the following bikes going cheap from over here if any of you guys are interested:

1) NSR250R (MC-18 R2J) in good running condition - GBP 500

2) NSR250R (MC-18 R5k), same condition as above but needs attention to paintwork/fairings - GBP 600

3) NSR250R (MC-18 R2J) in good running condition - GBP 550

See my budget was quite low so I haggled these down but will end up buying the MC21 cause its a superb bargain!!

These bikes are all mechanically sound but would need a bit of TLC with fairings and general cleaning up!! Smile

yeah the reflective honda is pretty cool!!

I just brought the bike home today. It needs a bit of work but is SO much faster than my nsr 125!!

I could not hit it out to even reach the powerband cause of the traffic and cops!

Aesthetically its a VERY nice bike and the brakes/handling is super!!

I will post more pics soon!
