I've been asked by my work if I would like to work in Ghana. Has anyone on here ever been? Holiday, work or anything. Just wondered what it was like and what I could expect there. Confused

Cheers

Why not ask work some questions about what you will be doing, what you'll be paid, accomidation, and what the culture is like.

Never know they might send you out there for a week to try and help you make up your mind Wink

It's an awesome place, Cape Coast especially. When, where and for how long?

Because of the people, places and culture to name 3 reasons. I'd go back tomorrow if it wasn't for the fact I have a family to support now.

Why on earth would you want to work in London?

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

How long are they planning to send you away Ritchie? I think it would be alright going to another country to work if it was for a few weeks or so...

Well they haven't said much about where or when yet, I'm in sheffield just now so I wont know more till I'm back in Glasgow. When I hear the word Ghana, my mind isn't picturing the ritz or anything. Confused I'm sure It's quite well established, but the images I'm getting are of cocaine smuggling and getting mugged. Laughing I think I'll need to look into it more. The job sounds like a can of worms though, so I might well knock it on the head regardless. Laughing

Look further in to it. Never pass up the chance to do something like this, looking back on opportunities you missed out on is not a good way to spend later life.
