Dont bother with Harley or Cruiser riders because they never nod back.

Dont usually bother with the L platers either unless its an RS, nsr, cbr, DT etc. The ped riders don't have a clue what your nodding at.

I also don't bother with the C90 riders because most of them are a wink away from death and cant even see in front of them, let alone the other lane at a nodding biker.

I always nod without fail. I rarely get a response in Stoke but always get nods back around Brum/West Mids.

I always nod. Always used to get nods back on my CB125, but now with the scooter I can't raise a blink. L plates probably don't help either.

lol, by moped riders, do you target those on 50cc with loser plates Evil or Very Mad lol, because you are a learner according to your avatar!

I don't always nod, but do mostly. Varies. Sometimes when I nod first, they take one look at my l plate and they have made their mind up to pretend ignoring me lol.

So why do you nod? Does it serve any purpose at all?

If you spent as much time looking in front of you as you appear to spend looking for someone to nod at then maybe some of you might not be involved in so many accidents. Discuss.

Similar thing here. I had a fair few minis back in the day, And you have the good old Mini "wave+smile".

I found myself waving/flashing at minis in my 206 once Id got rid of the mini for a good month or so. Laughing

Ive also nodded at bikers when In the car. Laughing

Alot of the time you can tell a biker in a car anyway when behind them due to their road position, if ive got a biker behind me I move over to the left slightly and keep my speed very constant, I also make sure he has seen me see him in my mirror. Thumbs Up

Usually get a wave when he/she passes too. Same with drivers when im on the bike, most of the time if they move over etc, then they are more than likely a biker them selves.

Yup, have caught my self nodding to bikers in the car as well, then start to think why are they not acknowledging me!! Embarassed

Also move over for bikes and acknowledge those that move over when I am on mine. Have found more people move over for the ZXR that they do for the GPZ, e.g. when o the motorway on the zxr they will move into to the inside lane, let me past, then move backout.. but not for the GPZ Confused

Why? If they don't return a nod then that's their problem not yours. Smile

If someone doesn't nod back to me then it's a shrug, maybe blow a small raspberry into my helmet and then carry on. Ain't no thang eh? Smile

HB..

(The only person in the whole world to get nods back from cruiser riders apparently...)

I always nod at any thing on 2 wheels that goes past but I never really care if they nod back because I generally don't have time to look
I always acknowledge car drivers that move over for me or other bikers I pass
But it is unimportant whether they acknowledge me I am happy because I do what I feel is right

Ps Binge I ride a cruiser

Hopefully, most of the people we nod to are indeed in front of us!

And am I the only one who does not like cars pulling in towards the left for me? Evil or Very Mad

Apart from kicking up all the shit, etc, from the verge, if there aint enough room to squirt past without them moving inwards, then I aint going past.

Besides, you should be passing cars that quickly that the first time they see you is when you pass their drivers door! Laughing

I always nod unless it's a 50cc chav boi/cruiser. Neither of them ever nod back and as said, C90's are always coffin dodgers.

Nothing wrong with L plates, not one of you lot has never had them. Cool Middle Finger
