Im up off to liverpool at about 5.30 and I can't decide whether to drive or ride?

I've got a Bandit(unfaired) and am thinking it will be a chore. but it is friday night and the traffic is bound to be bad so the bike does sound like an attractive option!

Any Ideas? I can't make up my mind?

Ta Smile

Oh Yeah, am going from Windsor, Berkshire

Depending on when you're planning to return, there's been a weather warning issued for 18:00 Sat to 12:00 Sun for heavy rain.
(I deal with flood warnings etc thru my work, so just thought you might appreciate the info).

Personally I'd take my waterproofs and still go by bike if it was me Thumbs Up

Thanks for the info, I'm travelling back sunday late afternoon/evening so hopefully I should miss the bad weather. Failing that it's a good excuse to stay up North in a Pub on Sunday night!

M42 to M62? Do you mean M42-M6-M62?

3 Hours... not bad!!! Cool

Could strangle somone for some fairing though, and a comfier seat.

410 miles this weekend has left me unable to sit down, not looking foward to a long uncomfortable day at the office tomorrow!

A simple small screen above the headlight woud make a world of difference to the comfort. I had an XJ1100 last year that I used for 7000 miles to and from work. It washard going until I got an old 'busa screen and cut it to fit the XJ, made a mounting bracket and went for a ride. It was a BIG improvement.
