What a load of balls !

Went for my car and bike theory today.

Passed the Car one(33/35). I was confident i was passing after doing it.

Bike one i knew after that i'd fail(27/35).

Passed hazard perception on both.

Stupid Q's like:

"There is a disabled man in the road driving a disabled power scooter, What is the max. speed of the power scooter".

How the hell do i know ! - May have even got that right Rolling Eyes

I'm annoyed as i don't even want a car, why couldn't i pass both Sad

Had to wait a month to do it and now i have to book again !

Thumbs Down

If you're booking online you could keep checking every day for any cancellations. When I did mine I just happened to get a cancellation less than a week away. It was the only one on that day at a weird time and I took it! All the rest were over a week later than the one I got.

You're right, it is a load of balls.

Back in the day of paper and pencils I failed my car one after passing the practical and ready to hit the road. I was enraged but didn't take it too seriously to be honest.

From the questions I'd seen the questions were all laughably obvious but they do put a few in there where you need to know some numbers eg how many metres should a warning triangle be placed from a car?

You've just got to read through the book and pick out those figures to remember.

I did the bike one two years ago and very narrowly passed the hazard perception. I wouldn't know how to do it any better in hindsight so I'm glad I passed.

It just isn't a realistic test in my book. I was clicking away trying to second guess the computer.

Yeah, I had that one on mine. I got it correct though.

It was on one of the mock tests I tried online before. That's the only reason I know it.

I'm sorry you failed.

But there's no excuse for failing the theory part.

The hazard perception cds available from the DSA are the entire official questions, all you have to do is practice, practice, practice.

Its the same questions, the same answers, if you practice you can not fail the theory part.

The hazard yes, the theory no.

I've even lent my cds to forum members and mates, all scored 100%

Get the CDS and you will pass.
