Just went to Morrisons on my lunch break and was in the right hand lane to turn right. The left lane goes straight on. I had a jeep at the front of the lights and a police copper on a bike in front of me. I looks to the right and the left and then runs the red light whilst there's other traffic coming!

The junction was more of a Y shape.

What a cunt.

I felt like telling someone, hence the post.

Did you get the reg number?

Report him stating the date, time and location with the reg number

if the vehicle was fitted with a camera (most traffic police vehicles are) it will be recorded - Evidence

Seriously try it! If you report it the police are obliged to investigate.

I had other things on my mind at the time - I.E. Southern style chicken wrap - so I didn't get reg number. I was also too gobsmacked.

They do it all the time. Last friday, I followed a police car cruising at the correct speed on a 40mph road. When we came up to a set of traffic lights which were on red, the policeman turned on his blue lights, ran through the red lights and turned them off again, and continued cruising at 40. He didn't appear to be on an urgent call by any description. It's one rule for the pigs and another for the public Evil or Very Mad. As far as I am concerned respect for the police is on an individual basis, depending on whether the behaviour of the person concerned is worthy of it.

Haha, This morning at McDonalds I was getting my Sausage & egg McMuffin, when I see a copper walk in, so I'm my normal casual self, get my food and be on my way, I only noticed leaving the street that he had parked on a T junction, with double yellows and was in the position as if he would be the first car(van, actually) in the queue, next to turn out.
Got reg but forgot it, and couldn't stop for a pic, was late for work(risking my parking spot being nabbed too Laughing ).

I just realised I should of put "Police biker".

My excuse was that I was on the phone to a customer whilst typing.
