Hi,
I have a problem I hope someone could help me with. Turns out that the stator cable that connects from the stator to the regulator-rectifier on my 1992 Honda VT600c has severed. It has three wires that broke and unfortunately I have no idea which one connects to which on the other end. I went to my honda dealer and he only can purchase the entire stator which costs $374. Heres my question, Does it matter which wire is connected to the regulator? Since the wire is picking up electrical energy from the stator/rotor. What harm can be done if I take a chance and just connect the three wires together in any order?

If its just the 3 wires from the generator carrying the 3 phase charging, then yes you can connect them to and it doesnt matter.
