don't restrict it, if you ever get pulled, say that you bought it as restricted, and don't know any different,
if by some tiny chance they wanna get a rolling road to you, have a rag under the seat ready to jam in the air box, that'll restict it Very Happy
the 400s arnt that far away from the 33hp any way.
thats my advice, take it with a pinch of salt Thumbs Up
good luck Thumbs Up

Might be worth a go.

Mind you, remember that 60 odd bhp is a fair bit more than far away when it comes to the law. I doubt you'd get away with 'Surely I've scraped through haven't I, officer?'.

Anyway, if you are riding reasonably you shouldn't be pulled and requested to have your bhp tested.

Your bike can be restricted. FI International do a kit for it which you can see here - https://www.fiinternational.com/Restrictors.asp They are the bastards that run the show.

That means you can expect to find someone with some washers to sell, if you keep an eye out through the forums (try gsxr400.com too) and ebay. They will probably cost around £30 if you manage to find them. Smile

Yes you can as shown above. It'll set you back around £200 to get them fitted by an approved dealer blah blah.
