re-jetting is when you bike is put on a dyno, and then after a run they will see what needs doing to the jetting.they would then change pipes and settings and stuff (which i am not to clear about) which will make sure that the bike does not drop power at certain revs.
The pipe will do the most of de-restricting the bike, the rest are just the cdi unit (imports) and i think one of the ports to teh carb is restricted aswell.

PLS!!! do yourself a favour and save the money for a bike that people are gonna take seriously

this is for your own benefit, you will look at your dynojetted 40hp NSR with empty pockets and go Confused

Not if u Fuck about with the engine!!!

Exhaust dont give much power gain anyway 3/4 Bhp
if u want a Desent increase get a nice K&N air filter... MOre air + more fuel = Extra 8/9 Bhp (estemated)

even better get saveing the £££ for a bigger bike,
i had a go on my mates Kwack 750 and i saw How Slow 125 are i put mine up for sale ASAP

believe me, restriction isnt as bad as it sounds, 33bhp equates to the happy side of 105mph on a reasonable bike

they're around £134.99 from FI International plus whatever the shop charges to fit them, which is usually around £50. You can't fit or order it yourself either as you need to have a certain license.

I'd keep the NSR, it isnt worth the hassle if you would geniunely keep the 33hp restricter in for 2 years.

I think you're in a situation because you bought a brand new NSR, and you're gonna lose a packet if you get shot of it straight away.

I would never go back to 125, a 400 restricted to 33bhp is a lot better, maybe you should keep the NSR for 1 year stock, then move up to a restrcited 400 or 600 which u can derestrict a year after that.

I know most ppl on here seem to say that a restricted 400 is faster than a derestricted 125, but it doesnt make any sense to me, eg

derestricted 125 = 30-ish bhp and 130-140kgs
restricted 400 = 33 bhp and 160-170kgs

the 125 is surely faster, right?!

30hp from a de-res 125??? Which one? A restricted 400 will get to a ton loooong before a 125, and who says it has to stay restricted??
You'll lose loads more if you sell the NSR in 2 years to get a bigger bike, and regret any chances you had

Hi

Rejetting is changing the jets in the carb to supply the correct amount of fuel for the engine with that carb / pipe / air filter / revs / throttle position / riders star sign / etc.

Get it slightly wrong an you will loose a little power, but more importantly you stand a chance of seizing the engine if you jet too lean.

Basically the main jet controls fueling at 3/4~full throttle, the needle jet from 1/4~3/4 and the idle jet >1/4 throttle. The first you change by substituting a different jet. The send you can adjust its position to alter the fuel slightly, or you replace it with a different needle. The idle mixture is adjusted with a screw on the side of the carb

All the best

Keith

Fuckit, find one that can take me Very Happy without being tricked to fook.
It's no just bhp with v's, they have a LOT more torque than 2-squeeks too.

Yep, doubt many (if any) road legal 2 stroke 125s manage to get over 30hp at the rear wheel

By the way 2 strokes make more torque than 4 strokes. Power is torque x rpm, and 2 strokes tend not to rev as high as 4 strokes. However 4 strokes often are more flexable than 2 strokes

All the best
