Apprantlly it worked okay (it was from the MCN Ninjas forum)... presumably the tape still left on the sides held it on.

i love getting my knee down it brilliant approachin a corner lean countersteer a bit the bike drops down brilliantlyunfortanately my lean is restricted by the pegs and the fairing on the right hand side which is probably a good thing as im usually on the edge of the tyre
just stick with it it took a full day trying for me to get my knee down i had leathers but no sliders my mates told me to get some i went and bought them in the morning after 3 hours of frustration i touched down i kept practicing to learn the bikes limits then i moved on to corners just keep trying it brill knee down for a first a prpoer buzz better than popping ya first wheelie as you usually shit yaself if its half decent

All you need to do is hang off more. Try to get at least one cheek off the seat, so that your left leg is holding you on the bike.
