 |
|
It says the Front pressure to be 25psi, and the rear to be 29psi.
Will it matter if the bike is on the stand or not? It is a centre stand so there is very little weight on the front, and the rear is in the air?
super newbie question, sorry...

Put the bike on the stand. Measure the pressure. Take the bike off the stand and measure the pressure again. I doubt you'll find a significant difference. ____________________ Current bike: Kawasaki Z750S |

More a question of can you check your tyre pressure while holding the bike up ??
I think there will be a larger diffrence when tyres are hot/cold, then with the weight of the bike. ____________________ Just because my bike was A DIVVY, does not mean i am...... |

keep an aye one your pressure and always check and fill when they are cold, having correct pressure reduces petrol consumption and increases tyre life, over or under inflation can be dangerous and wear your tyre down 10 fold , just a lil safety tip for the new bike owners ____________________ Haz ER-5, innit! |

honestly i wish i had my CG still, thinkin of getting one as a winter hack bike. there great fun for trips, you dont get piles on a 10 mile trip lmao. that bike will never fail on you mate there bullet proof. make sure theres petrol in the tank and ur good to go, i've heard storied of em being ran without oil in extreme cases an they survived. keep an eye on the exhaust for rust and pittin on the chrome ____________________ Haz ER-5, innit! |

Yeah, my plan is to keep it for a loooong time...
Bought it new with the intention to keep it a good 2 or 3 years.
Mainly so I can park onsite at work, which saves me 10 mins a day each way walking time, although I must admit i have found myself sneaking out early evening to have a quick ride around Over Wyre and in the countryside.
I need to get the practise for the DAS, that is my excuse and I am sticking to it ____________________ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
