Can you do your motorcycle theory test at 16 and if so how long do I have to do my practical test after my theory?

Your theory test pass certificate is valid for 2 years. Thumbs Up So you can do it now and go straight to your practical at 17.

Excellent, I'm going to start revising for my theory so I can get it out of the way.

I turn 17 next June and I know that the test changes in October. Would it be a bad idea to buy something like a CG125 practice for 3 months and they go for my test or do I need more practice?

Edit: I've just realised that I put this topic in to Biking News and not New Bikers. That's why I couldn't find it.

I'd just get a free assessment with a training school. Practicing on your own won't help as you won't be 100% sure what the examiner is looking for.

I'd say just do a free assessment and the school will offer the number of days they think you need. Some even do guarenteed pass schemes. Save's you splahing out on a bike before your test.
