I'm taking a trip to Southern Ireland 10- 13 August 2007 with a few friends.

Has anyone stayed in any good hostels in Dublin City (for the first night I arrive in Dublin)? I'll be sleeping on my own and don't fancy single room supplements if I can avoid it.

Alternatively has anyone stayed in any good reasonably priced b&b's in Dublin.

Thanks for any help.

Any advice on places to stay, whether it be B&Bs or camp sites?

We didn't stay in campsites so can't help there.

B&b's were of a high quality- about £20.00 per person if you shared a room. Plenty everywhere we went.

Dublin gets very busy especially at weekends so if you're arriving Friday or Sat afternoon/evening best to book ahead for your first night.
