I am currently living in the middle east and thinking of buying a Japanese import, CB 1300. Can anyone tell me if they are restricted and how easy to derestrict if they are. Any other info would be very much appreciated too. Many thanks.

Yes it's restricted to 100PS/7000rpm, 11.9kgm/5500rpm.
(Europe one is 85kW / 7,500min, 117Nm / 5,500min)
As far as I checked CB1300 forum in japan, you need to
-Change air funnels from japanese one to europe one.
part no.17225ＭＣＺ010 * 2sets
-Change ECU wiring
-Remove inner of air cleaner
-Kill the exhaust devise of normal exhaust or change to aftermarket one.
