Quick Licence Question

Hi,

I've held my Bike licence for 4 years now, and its still nice and shiny (No points )

However in the past month i've just passed my car test and had this entitlement added onto my licence.

When i past my car test the examiner told me about the 2 year probation period (Six points and you start again). I told him i had held my bike licence for more than 2 years and he was unsure wether the probation period still stood.

My question is, am i allowed more than 6 points within 2 years?
