You gonna do it Al?

I'm tempted by something like that, but worried that

Introductory Motorcycle Maintenance starts by explaining how to prepare your Motorcycle for a journey and continues through the operations necessary to carry out a routine lubrication service.

means we'll learn how to lube and adjust a chain, check the tyre pressures and move on to how to change the oil.

Yeah, I'm worried it'd be a bit simple, but I figure if most of the ppl on the course know how to do the real basics (adjust chain, check tyre pressures) we should be able to persuade them to move on to more involved stuff quite quick.

I want to learn enough to do a good service:

Changing brake pads, changing brake fluid & bleeding.
Changing chain & sprockets.
Changing and correctly gapping spark plugs.

I'll drop the college an email and see what they say.

I did a Basic Motorcycle maintenance course at Stoke college. They did include all the things mentioned above, and the guy teaching us was pretty open to what we wanted to do next.

You'll probably find that you do what the majority want. First lesson I had we were taking an engine to bits!
