They are good for the occasional thrash, but not really up to daily commuting. Will need regular rebuilds as the engine is highly tuned. Avoid ex race bikes as they are ready to pop any minute

nice bikes rebuilds at 20k i think unlike the rs250 at 10k

Same engine (almost) same powervalve problem. Same engine life, although from most accounts the RS lasts longer (I would still rebuild both early as the cost of replating bores is too much to risk for an extra 1k~2K miles)

yeah afraid ur wrong tj, the rs250 has a suzuki engine in so we can't slag off the aprillia this time.
erm i'm seriously thinking of getting a rgv for a while, they are quick, top speed of around 130, 0-60 in a little over 4 seconds. a fun bike but i wouldnt say its good for going far, not the confyest seat.

My mate used to have one, he loved it untill he crashed it Rolling Eyes then he went from that to a r1 Very Happy
