Petrol cleaner

is there such a thing as petrol cleaner(i dont mean it cleans petrol) but it goes in with the petrol and cleans the engine. if so any good makes

You mean to clean the carbs??? I think it is called Redex... but Jimbo... may I ask why you want to know this as you have only had your NSR like a week.... and unless you put sugar in the tank they won't need cleaning...

Hi

You can get it. Stuff such as power pills is meant to do it. You can also buy proper carb / fuel injection cleaners. Never had any real success with them, but I have been told that the one made by Forte is the best (my local Alfa specialist uses it plus it is the same one recommended by my local bike shop if any is needed).

Redex is there to decarbonise the combustion chamber
