So if you passed your test now, would you not get an instant ban as you have exceeded the 6 point in 2 years rule? Confused Confused

I think he would have 9 points but not be banned, but if he got 1 more he would be.

If he got another point then yes, but he'd be ok if he passed his test.

You are, but if you already have more than that then they let you keep your license. If however you get one more point they revoke it.

Basically as far as i know rule say you are aloud 6 points with in 2 years of passing your test, well i didn't pass any tests not a car or a bike full test so i should be alowed 12...

First 3 points was for doing 43 in 30, was a fixed £60 fine + 3 points

Second time got pulled over for doing 53 in 30 zone (same road lol) there was a police officer in unmarked police car and he had evidence of me speeding, video and shit like that... He took it up to the court, i wrote a very nice apoligy letter to the court saying blablabla and i got £45 quid fine and 6 points lol... And the court (stupid wankers) lost my plastic bit of a license argh!

Not a fast learner then?

Or too fast a learner haha Laughing

if you look down towards your handlebars you'll see a couple of dials - one of them tells you how fast you're going. Its easier on the wallet to do it yourself rather than leave it to the boys in blue to keep reminding you Wink

The best way to learn is to learn on your own mistakes, you learn even more when you do same mistake twice... Now i am always below the speed limit and i don't care if people shout at me saying i am going to slow!

Lesson learned! Speed limits are there for a reason!

But for some reason i can hardly see myself not getting any more points in the next 5 years Laughing

So assuming you haven't passed a driving test but are riding on a 125 with L's on, you can amass more than the 6 points?

Seems a bit arse for elbow that... Confused

I'd have thought if you get 6 point in the above case you'd loose the prov license...

If you passed your driving test you have a full license that allows you to ride a up to a 125.

If you get to 6 or more points within the first 2 years of your first full licence then you revert to being a learner on a provisional (not a ban).

If you get to 12 points then it is a ban.

All the best

Drew did you ever bother to read the title of this topic? That topic you got a link to was before i went to court and received my 6 points and as you can see in my last topic (if you ever bother to read it) i was asking how many points i was aloud on a provisional that's why i had a topic name like that... I never had a clear answer in that topic and as i had court summon yesterday i received my 6 points so now i got 9 and i am reposting a new one.

Drew did i ever say that i am pleased with it? No i am not fucking pleased and i don't have a gang or whatever you ment but there is no point crying about it, i got stopped back in September and it took a month before i had a letter from the court and it took another 2 weeks for the resoult and if i was thinking about it every day i would probably get crazy, yes i made a mistake, you learn on mistakes and i just got over it really quickly...

Trust me, i'll give you an example...

You got a friend and both of you got cool bikes, your friend thinks 'oh how about if i'll do a wheelie' and he fails, smashes the bike, at that moment you think ahaha what an idiot... But it doesn't mean that you never going to try the wheelie yourself and afther that your first crash/success whatever you will make a next decision yourself if to do it again or not.
